Bridger Valley is located in Southwest Wyoming on the north slope of the Uinta Mountain Range. The Valley consists of three communities – the incorporated towns of Lyman and Mountain View and the town of Fort Bridger, all within a 6-mile radius of each other. Bridger Valley is at the crossroads of Interstate 80 and Wyoming Highways 410 and 414. It serves as one of the primary entrances to the High Uinta Mountain Range and the Wasatch Cache National Forest where there is unlimited hunting, fishing, camping and hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and ATV and snowmobile riding. Mountain View is the gateway community to Flaming Gorge Reservoir and the north slope of the Uinta Mountains. Full service grocery store, gas stations and several restaurants are available to serve the traveler’s needs. The restored Fort Bridger historic site and museum are open year around and are the home of the Mountain Man Rendezvous over Labor Day weekend. Fort Bridger is where trails of the past converge:
